New Section Alert !!!!
Let me ask you a question first…
Which social media platform grabs most of your attention ?
a) Facebook b) WhatsApp c) Instagram
d) YouTube e) Twitter
What I have observed is that if you’re a millennial then maybe it’s option c and option a is for all but mostly our parents’ generation. Although option b is mostly for regular communication purposes.
Around 2 years ago, my answer would also be option c but gradually it has shifted to option e. Yes…..for me it’s Twitter.
But why do I prefer this platform with full of politics and hate speeches ??
Here’re the reasons:-
Twitter has evolved a lot because of its users. CEOs, CTOs, CFOs & other personalities who have created something big/ aspires to create something huge for this humanity; all of them put out their thoughts on Twitter.
They share how they have done mistakes like us then how they learnt from that mistake and became a better version of themselves.
It makes me think about my life choices & changes my perspectives a lot.
They say that if you’re the smartest in a room then you’re in the wrong room.
Twitter is the place where most of the users are far more smarter than me.
You never know, maybe you’ll find your cofounder here and will put your ideas into action or you’ll grab a job by showcasing a portfolio of your hard skills on Twitter.
So it’s a goldmine if you can mine it with extraordinary effort.
Those who love to write, can enhance their writing skills here.
When I try to write, I challenge myself to think deeply about life, career & my own unique experiences. This writing habit finally boils down to clarity of thought.
Basically Twitter is a personal digital diary for me.
This is something beyond imagination about Twitter. This was the time when 2nd wave of COVID-19 made India almost a graveyard.
Every hospital was running out of oxygen, beds & other emergency stuff then one guy made a website within a very short span of time, gathered volunteers from Twitter then all of them worked 24*7 spanning all over India, provided verified leads, saved so many lives.
Likewise many other developers have done the same. In this way, Twitter became a ray of hope for so many people at that time.
Here I have mentioned only 4 reasons but there are so many insane stories that Twitter has created.
(PS: You have to follow the right kind of people. If you don’t know who they are then I can guide you.
You have to be an active as well as patient user to observe what I have observed over 2 years.)
So here is the Big Announcement………
Now onwards in my chronicles, I will share some tweets that I have loved in a separate section every week….
Here are this week’s tweets…
“If your friend does business or is selling anything - it can be any product, course, book or anything at all….
Buy it, don’t ask for a free thing, not even a discount.
Be a true friend, support. Friends empower.
Else don’t call yourself a friend.”— Manish Pandey
“Three steps to increase your potential at work:
1. While being humble,
2. Listen well, and
3. Always be learning.”— Ashok Ramachandran
